Product Manager

As a Product Manager specializing in the Plumbing & Heating, HVAC & R and Hydronics markets you will hold a pivotal role in steering the success of our offerings within these industries. This dual nature of our business provides a unique opportunity to manage the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to distribution, while leveraging your marketing expertise to drive strategic initiatives. This role requires a profound understanding of both the product landscape and the intricacies of marketing within these markets.

•Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities, analyze trends, and understand customer needs in the market.
•Develop and refine product strategies aligned with market dynamics, customer requirements, and company objectives, leveraging your marketing insights to inform product direction.
•Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, procurement, and operations to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful execution.
•Work collaboratively with marketing group to develop comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and updates, ensuring alignment with sales targets and market positioning.
•Gather customer feedback through various channels and translate insights into actionable product improvements, enhancements, and new feature developments.
•Monitor competitor activity, benchmark product offerings, and identify areas for differentiation and competitive advantage within the market.
• Manage: Company’s published price lists for both Canada and the USA, ensuring they are regularly updated to accurately reflect current market conditions and costs.
•Provide insight and support to marketing teams in developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns, messaging, and promotional activities to drive product adoption and sales.
•Equip the sales team with the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively communicate product value propositions, overcome objections, and drive revenue growth.
•Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance and success, regularly tracking and analyzing metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
•Organize and develop questions to guide focus group sessions.

Skills and Qualifications
• Having a solid technical understanding of plumbing and HVAC&R systems involves knowledge of various components, principles, and practices associated with these systems.
•Proven experience in product management, with a track record of successfully bringing products to market and driving growth.
• Extensive marketing background demonstrating a deep understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics adaptable across diverse industries, with a focus on effectively navigating various market landscapes and driving impactful marketing initiatives.
•Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to derive actionable insights from market research, customer feedback, and performance metrics.
•The ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, articulate product vision, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
•Ability to think strategically and anticipate market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to drive product innovation and differentiation.
•Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
•Customer-focused mindset with a passion for understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
•Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
•Experience working as tradesperson, distribution and/or associations within the plumbing and HVAC&R markets would be considered an asset for this position.
•The role requires occasional travel, primarily with in Canada.
