Site Superintendent - ICI Construction

Greater Toronto Area, Ontario
We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent with ICI (industrial, commercial, institutional) construction experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring that construction projects are completed safely, within budget, and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors and tradespeople.
  • Ensure that all work is completed safely, and in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local and provincial regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, and adjust plans and schedules as necessary to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Manage project budget, and track costs to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met.
  • Attend and participate in project meetings.
  • Ensure that all work meets quality standards, and that deficiencies are promptly addressed.
  • Train and mentor junior site staff as required.
Qualifications:
  • 5-10+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent in ICI construction.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of local and provincial construction regulations and codes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
