Position: Director of Supply Chain
Location: St. Thomas, ON

Overview:
A leading home improvement product manufacturer is seeking a dynamic Director of Supply Chain to lead and optimize their supply chain operations. This role focuses on strategy development, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics to ensure efficient product delivery. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Supply Chain Strategy: Create and implement strategies to align with business objectives, optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Supplier & Logistics Management: Build strong supplier relationships and develop logistics strategies to enhance delivery and reduce costs.
• Inventory & Production Planning: Oversee inventory systems and collaborate with production to align schedules with customer demand.
• Risk & Performance Management: Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and track KPIs to drive performance improvements.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering development and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related fields (Master’s preferred). Certifications such as CSCP or CPSM are a plus.
• Experience: 10+ years in supply chain management, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Skills: Strong strategic, analytical, leadership, and negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of supply chain software and global trends.
