Testing and Inspection Manager – Sprinkler Systems (GTA)

Join a premier fire protection contractor in the GTA, recognized for its commitment to safety and quality in sprinkler systems. As the Testing and Inspection Manager, you will oversee critical testing and inspection processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sprinkler System Oversight: Manage and coordinate all testing and inspection activities specific to sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of inspectors and technicians, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures to ensure all sprinkler systems are tested and inspected thoroughly, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed promptly.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Oversee the accurate documentation of inspection results and compliance reports, maintaining meticulous records for audits and regulatory purposes.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support for staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about current sprinkler system standards, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in testing and inspection of sprinkler systems within the fire protection sector, with a solid understanding of relevant codes and standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of sprinkler system design, installation, testing methods, and compliance requirements.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Effective Communicator: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, ensuring thorough inspections and accurate reporting.
