We're looking for a Senior Project Coordinator to join a growing construction team delivering complex, high-profile projects across the GTA.  This role offers the opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional projects while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values teamwork, innovation, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in coordinating all aspects of complex construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Assist in the tendering process by liaising with subcontractors, obtaining pricing, and maintaining trade lists.
  • Coordinate, review, and track drawings, shop drawings, and submittals.
  • Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) using construction management software and ensure timely responses.
  • Administer and track change orders while ensuring site teams are informed of revisions promptly.
  • Attend project meetings, prepare detailed meeting minutes, and distribute action items.
  • Coordinate communication between consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
  • Monitor project documentation to ensure schedules, budgets, and project milestones remain on track.
  • Provide ongoing support to site operations and the Health & Safety team.
  • Assist with project closeout, deficiency management, and turnover documentation.
  • Help identify project risks and proactively support solutions that keep projects moving forward.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator within the construction industry.
  • Experience participating in the successful delivery of a large commercial, industrial, institutional, or residential construction project from start to finish.
  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, Building Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, specifications, scheduling, procurement, and HSE practices.
  • Experience with Procore, Textura, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel is considered an asset.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Collaborative team player with strong leadership potential and a proactive approach.
