Landscape Construction Project Manager

We’re looking for a Landscape Construction Project Manager who loves keeping projects moving and getting things done. You’ll manage multiple commercial landscape projects at once, taking them from planning and mobilization right through construction, completion, and client handover.

This is a hands-on, fast-moving role for someone who enjoys variety, works well with people, and can confidently juggle projects, crews, schedules, budgets, and clients. You’re a natural relationship builder, a great communicator, and someone who jumps on challenges quickly to keep projects on track and everyone working together.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple landscape construction projects from start through completion and client turnover.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing responsive and professional service.

  • Work closely with the Senior Project Manager and President to coordinate current and upcoming projects, field staff, equipment, and resources.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, timelines, and key milestones.

  • Monitor project budgets, costs, commitments, and expenditures to keep projects financially on track.

  • Attend site meetings and conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, scheduling, safety, and productivity.

  • Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.

  • Communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of field management and/or project management experience.

  • Strong understanding of commercial construction practices.

  • Proven experience managing multiple construction projects at the same time.

  • Experience developing project schedules and managing deadlines and milestones.

  • Strong budgeting, cost-control, and risk-management skills.

  • Experience with estimating, tenders, progress billing, and project documentation is an asset.

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in construction management, landscape construction, business, or a related discipline.

  • Strong verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Highly organized and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

  • Proficient with ERP/project management systems and Microsoft Office.

  • High level of integrity, accountability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
