Senior Product Manager

Title: Product Manager
Location: GTA, ON

Our client, a well-established manufacturer serving the building products industry, is seeking a Product Manager to lead product strategy and lifecycle management across a growing portfolio.

Reporting to senior leadership, this individual will be responsible for driving new product development, commercialization, and ongoing portfolio optimization. The role works cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to bring innovative products to market while supporting long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management from concept through commercialization.

  • Drive new product development and enhancements to existing product lines.

  • Develop business cases, pricing strategies, market analysis, and ROI assessments.

  • Coordinate product launches and commercialization activities.

  • Research market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to identify growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external OEM partners to ensure successful product development and execution.

  • Support technical documentation, product training, and sales enablement.

  • Monitor product performance and recommend improvements, cost optimization, and lifecycle decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • PMP designation required.

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, or project management within a manufacturing environment.

  • Proven experience managing products through the full lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience in pricing, business case development, and market analysis.

  • Experience working with OEM customers and contract manufacturers is preferred.

  • Building products, plumbing, or related manufacturing industry experience is an asset.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
