Sales Manager – Commercial HVAC (OEM)
Location: GTA (Mississauga area)
Reporting to: President
We’re partnering with a privately held, growth-oriented HVAC manufacturer serving the commercial and institutional markets (schools, high-rise residential, hospitality). The team is looking for a hands-on Sales Manager to elevate performance, drive strategic growth, and bring stronger structure to a solid but evolving sales organization.
What the Team Needs
This is not a “maintain the status quo” leadership role. The business needs a player-coach who can:
- Drive revenue and margin growth across existing accounts while opening new markets and channels
- Bring structure to sales execution (pipeline discipline, pricing strategy, forecasting, CRM usage)
- Lead and develop a technical sales team, raising the bar on accountability and performance
- Strengthen customer relationships
- Act as the commercial voice internally, aligning sales with engineering, production, and finance
- Identify new applications, verticals, and product opportunities to diversify revenue
Ideal Profile
- 7+ years in technical sales within HVAC or similar engineered products
- Proven experience leading and developing a sales team
- Strong understanding of OEM / project-based selling environments
- Comfortable in both strategy and execution (boardroom to job site)
- Commercially sharp: pricing, margins, contracts, and deal structure
- Engineering background is an asset (Mechanical preferred)
