Sales Engineer – Civil Engineering Solutions
Our client is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive market expansion and secure product approvals within the local civil engineering and consulting community. This role is pivotal in influencing design and construction specifications, ensuring our innovative solutions are incorporated into projects at the regional level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with civil engineering firms, design consultants, municipalities, and developers.
- Conduct daily in-person visits with design firms and regulatory agencies to promote products and generate project opportunities.
- Deliver engaging lunch-and-learn sessions and professional organization presentations.
- Provide technical support to the local sales team, assisting in product positioning and specification approvals.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions (e.g., ASCE, APWA, TSPE).
- Identify and develop strategies to gain approvals from local regulatory bodies and engineering groups.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (P.Eng designation is an asset).
- Strong knowledge of stormwater and drainage systems.
- Proven ability to build relationships and drive engagement within the engineering community.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
