Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join their growing team. This role is vital to the success of our sales operations, involving direct interaction with customers, preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating inventory. We’re seeking someone who brings a strong customer service mindset, thrives in a collaborative environment, and ideally has experience in the plumbing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email

• Prepare and send accurate quotes for plumbing products and job packages

• Enter and manage customer orders using our ERP system (SAP experience is a plus)

• Support inventory tracking to ensure accurate order fulfillment

• Handle general customer service needs, including product support, returns, and ETA updates

• Maintain organized records for quotes, orders, and communications

• Collaborate closely with outside sales reps, warehouse staff, and suppliers

• Identify upselling opportunities and nurture strong customer relationships

• Participate in product and systems training as required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or order desk roles (experience in plumbing or construction-related fields is strongly preferred)

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP/order entry systems is a strong asset

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking ability

• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Working knowledge of plumbing products, systems, and terminology is a definite advantage
