The Scheduling Manager (Workforce Manager) is responsible for overseeing workforce coordination, ensuring seamless service delivery, and managing project timelines. This role requires an individual with strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and experience in HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage people and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment, while working across diverse teams and functions. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
Strategically schedule technicians to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
Manage the distribution and oversight of workforce schedules, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Oversee technician work orders, recommendations, and deficiency reports, taking decisive action for follow-ups
Manage weekly timesheets, vacation requests, and expense forms, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Oversee fleet maintenance in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager, ensuring vehicles are in top condition.
Review and activate open projects, ensuring that all prerequisites are in place.
Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment to meet project timelines.
Prioritize and schedule small- to medium-scale projects, aligning with client expectations and requirements.
Qualifications:
Strong experience in HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing industries is essential.
Proven ability to manage people and resources effectively in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated experience in managing service schedules and coordinating large teams.
Experience with project coordination and working across multiple divisions (e.g., service, emergency response, maintenance, and construction).
Ability to anticipate operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
Familiarity with workforce management tools and scheduling software is a plus.
A background in managing service operations, including fleet and inventory management, is preferred.
