Our client is seeking a dedicated Product Marketing Specialist, ideally with experience within the HVAC & Plumbing field to join their team of professionals. This pivotal role drives the success of our offerings within these industries. As a Product Marketing Specialist, you'll lead initiatives in both product management and marketing, ensuring our products excel throughout their lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct in-depth market research to uncover opportunities, analyze trends, and grasp customer needs, incorporating competitive analysis (Identify unique selling points that differentiate our products from competitors).
Develop and refine product strategies tailored to market dynamics, customer requirements, and company objectives.
Engage closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and operations, to define product requirements and prioritize features.
As part of the marketing group contribute to crafting comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and updates, ensuring alignment with sales targets and market positioning.
Manage product roadmaps, balancing short-term priorities with long-term strategic objectives, and adapting plans based on market feedback and evolving business needs.
Gather customer feedback from various channels and translate insights into actionable product improvements, enhancements, and new features.
Monitor competitor activity, benchmark product offerings, and identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage within the market.
Manage published price lists for both Canada and the USA, ensuring regular updates to accurately reflect current market conditions and costs.
As part of the marketing team, collaborate in developing content and executing targeted marketing campaigns, messaging, and promotional activities to drive product adoption and sales.
Be responsible for new and updates to current product literature content, such as product sheets/brochures, and installation guidelines, to ensure clear and comprehensive information is available for customers and internal stakeholder
SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Proven experience in both product management and marketing roles.
Proficient understanding of product marketing principles and strategies.
Ability to analyze and interpret data to derive insights from market research and customer feedback.
