National Sales Manager - Sensors (Canada)
Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (with frequent travel across Canada)
Our client is a leading global manufacturer of high-quality sensors and automation solutions. Our innovative products and systems are used across various industries, including lumber, paper, food, etc. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to develop business and lead our sales team in Canada.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets in the Canadian market.
Establish and maintain key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and negotiate and close business deals.
Collaborate with the product development, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the sensors or automation industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing high-performance sales teams.
Strong understanding of the Canadian market and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel frequently across Canada and occasionally internationally.
Bilingual in English and French is a strong asset.
