- Opens customer accounts by recording account information.
- Maintains customer records by updating account information.
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
- Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
- Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
- Upsells and cross sells into client based on understands clients’ needs and identifying potential future products.
- Entering and managing orders
- Completing RFQs and doing quotes daily
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for a customer service representative. Able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, team members, and management.
- Order Management Experience: Candidates should have experience in order management, including processing orders, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in a customer service role is highly desirable. Candidates should have experience handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Candidates should be highly detail-oriented, with the ability to enter and manage customer orders accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills are critical for a customer service representative. Able to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Able to manage time effectively is essential for a customer service representative with order management experience. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- A team player, able to work collaboratively with other departments, including sales, shipping, and finance, to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
