Territory Sales Representative - B.C.

Our client has an immediate opening for a Territory Sales Rep to Service British Columbia.  In this role, you will be promoting the company’s products and qualifying the client’s products for use on large projects, and general usage within various municipalities.
  • Promoting and specifying products within municipal, industrial, electrical and plumbing industries
  • Working with consulting engineers, municipalities and region governments throughout British Columbia to ensure correct design, specification and application of our client’s complete product line
  • Travel throughout assigned territory, with particular emphasis on fast growing areas of the province, liaising with Municipality Engineering Departments and consulting engineers
  • Delivering technical presentations to municipal and consulting engineers
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
  • Seven plus years’ engineering experience in a capacity related to or responsible for municipal engineering design and construction projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.   Comfortable with public speaking.
  • Able to interact and communicate interchangeably with both contractors (for sales) and engineering departments (for “specifications”)
  • A strong team player with demonstrated judgment, interpersonal, technical and communication skills
  • A graduate from a recognized engineering program an asset
