Service Planning Manager

As the Service/Dispatch Manager, you will be responsible for managing the schedules of a well-established mechanical team of field technicians.

  • Develop daily, monthly, and quarterly workforce schedules
  • Receive requests for service, assess and determine best course of action, and record all details
  • Assign the appropriate technician to the service call based on skill and availability
  • Utilize GPS software to direct and assist field technicians for optimal client service
  • Provide support to field team members to ensure their safety in various environments and situations
  • Maintain service and emergency response tracking log
  • Participate in regular training seminars and team meetings
  • 1- 3 years of experience in service coordination and route creation
  • Strong planning, forecasting, and scheduling skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in an integrated and a team-based environment
  • Solid commitment to client-focused service, quality, and safety
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple and evolving priorities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling software
  • Knowledge of HVAC-R and/or PLUMBING will be considered an asset
