Our client is a leading Industrial Electrical distributor and is currently looking for a self-motivated individual to become an integral part their Outside Sales Team servicing the GTA. Ideally the right candidate will be someone who drives for results, has a history of uncovering new business opportunities, but also provides outstanding customer service. This person will have a passion for providing solution based selling and creating a value-added relationship with their customers.
Responsibilities:
· Work with and generate new business within your selected geographical area.
· Excel with your sales goals and identify business opportunities with your current customer base as well as penetrate clients.
· Work with your sales team to leverage talents and provide detailed information to improve sales strategies and execution.
· In all sales roles one shall strive to achieve long term relationships with their value-add sales technique.
· It is vital to keep up to date with industry knowledge, changes as well as advances to products and industry trends.
· Provide and distribute accurate technical data and advice to customers.
· Work effectively with your CRM tool to produce relevant reports in sales.
Qualifications:
· Post-secondary education a must or appropriate industry experience
· Personable, positive and persuasive attitude
· Strong customer service focus
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· Some knowledge of competitive products and sales channels
· Ability to work independently and as a team player
· Ability to learn and develop sales strategies that clearly define goals, strategies/tactics, and metrics for measuring success
