As the Inside Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing support to customers and outside sales representatives, ensuring the customer’s needs are met. Primary activities in this role include making outbound calls to customers, processing requests for quotes, processing orders, supporting the full sales process (answering simple price and product availability questions, providing technical, solution orientated assistance, maintaining and developing quality relationships with clients, and following up with customers).
Process Request for Quotes (RFQ) by issuing SAP generated quote for all requests based on an understanding of market conditions and historical pricing
Provides high level technical support (such as product identification and cross reference) or redirects technical inquiries to the appropriate Product Management contact.
Proactively seeks customers through cold calling new potential customers, reconnecting with lapsed customers, and other customer opportunities.
Follows up on Quotations by contacting customers by phone, email, or through the Sales managers.
Assists customers to improve delivery dates by initiating expedites in SAP along with CSR.
Investigates and resolves complaints and errors in service by working with both internal and external customers along with CSR
Receives, enters and verifies orders from customers.
Support the Outside Sales Representatives by assisting with administrative tasks when necessary
