Our client, a progressive wholesaler in the plumbing industry has an opening in the GTA for a motivated individual to join our growing team. 
 
Inside/Counter Sales 
This position is responsible for servicing customer requirements, questions and concerns in a prompt and efficient manner while acting as a liaison between customers. The incumbent of this role will also actively promote and drive business through the calling of customers. This position is also responsible for handling customer inquiries, and servicing customer at the counter.  
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
    • 2+ years Experience within the plumbing industry and products 
    • computer / wholesaler software an asset
    • Promptly address customer needs with regards to sourcing, pricing, and availability of material 
    • Promote and increase business through proactive calls 
    • Receive, enter and generate customer orders in the system in an efficient manner 
    • Work in conjunction with and provide support to Account Managers 
    • Provide accurate quotations, pricing and availability to customers as required 
    • Expedite and follow-up on orders and back orders 
    • Process customer credits (defectives products, etc.) in a timely manner 
    • Pricing, order entry and expediting 
    • Provide effective management of customer accounts 
    • Receive, pick and pack products 
    • Serve customers in a courteous manner at the counter and over the phone 
    • Obtain and display technical knowledge of products 
    • Provide technical product assistance 
    • Other duties as assigned
