Business Development Manager - Industrial Supplies

Our client, one of Canada's leading distributors for 50 years in delivering new and exiting industrial products and services to the Canadian Market place is looking for a business development manager to contribute to the profitable growth of their organization.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, results driven “hunter” to develop business in the Greater Toronto Area, joining a team of 325 plus associates in delivering innovation, excellence, and quality in everything they offer!
Present, promote and sell services to existing and prospective customers
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Identify and develop potential opportunities through cold calling, networking and research
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
5+ years of industrial sales experience, with a strong desire to drive growth organically in a B2B environment
Knowledge of multiple categories of industrial supplies
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Customer solutions driven
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Relationship management skills
Compensation: Competitive Base + commission, + plus car allowance, + benefits, + cell, + laptop
All in estimate: $140k Opportunity for growth into a leadership role
